Online Video Service, founded in 1999 and one of the original pioneers in the field of internet broadcasting, is now changing its name to OVS Media. We have been proud that our name, Online Video Service, became the adjective of the entire online video industry. Back in 1999, we could only have imagined that Online Video Service would evolve into the name of everything in Internet video. We felt that our nickname “OVS” which our clients and partners have used since we started, coupled with “Media,” is the best approach for our company.
As we embrace Stakeholder Broadcasting as the new driver in the internet video industry, we felt that the time was right to move our name and logo along. We are excited about the changes coming to internet video in the next 15 years and we’re confident OVS Media’s Stakeholder Broadcasting will be one of those drivers for the future.
